Who We Are
JEE Counsellor is an independent educational technology platform built by a team of alumni from India's premier engineering institutes. Having gone through the grueling JEE preparation and the complex JoSAA counselling process ourselves, we realized that thousands of deserving students lose out on great opportunities simply due to a lack of structured data and awareness.
We started this platform to bridge that information gap. We are a dedicated team of data scientists, web developers, and career counsellors based in India, committed to making the college selection process transparent, analytical, and stress-free.
Our Methodology & Data Integrity
The algorithms powering our predictive tools are not based on guesswork. We aggregate hundreds of thousands of data points from the official Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) opening and closing rank archives from previous years (2023, 2024, 2025).
Our "Adaptive Sigmoid" algorithm tracks seat fluctuation trends across all 6 JoSAA rounds and 2 CSAB rounds. It adjusts "steepness" dynamically—meaning it treats a 50-rank difference at a top IIT entirely differently than a 50-rank difference at a lower-tier GFTI, providing an incredibly realistic Chance Score.

- Authoritativeness: All cutoff data, matrix figures, and fee structures are strictly sourced from official JoSAA/CSAB resources and individual college documentation. We do not use third-party scraped approximations.
- Trust & Transparency: We have a strict zero-bias policy. We do not accept sponsorships from private colleges to rank them higher on our platform. The data is exactly as the trends dictate.
