1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, JEE rank, category, quota, and home state. This information is stored securely in Firebase Firestore and is used solely to personalize your counselling experience.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to:
- Provide personalized college predictions
- Save your wishlist and choice fill lists
- Process payments via Razorpay
- Send important updates about JoSAA/CSAB counselling
3. Data Storage
All user data is stored on Google Firebase servers. Firebase provides enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled by Firebase Auth.
4. Payment Data
Payment processing is handled by Razorpay. We do not store your credit/debit card details or UPI credentials. We only store the payment ID and amount for record-keeping.
5. Data Sharing
We never sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only shared with:
- Firebase (data storage)
- Razorpay (payment processing)
6. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@jeecounsellor.in. We will process your request within 30 days.
