Frequently Asked Questions
About the Platform
What is JEE Counsellor?
JEE Counsellor is India's most complete JEE counselling platform. We provide data-driven college predictions for JoSAA and CSAB counselling based on 2 years of actual cutoff data. You can explore 264 colleges (IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs), compare colleges, build your choice fill list, and make informed decisions about your engineering college admission.
Is JEE Counsellor affiliated with JoSAA or NTA?
No. JEE Counsellor is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to JoSAA, CSAB, NTA, or any government body. We use publicly available cutoff data to provide predictions as a guidance tool only.
How accurate are the predictions?
Our predictions use actual JoSAA 2023 and 2024 closing rank data with a weighted average formula. While no predictor can guarantee admission, our data-driven approach gives you the most realistic picture of your chances. The Chance Score tells you the probability of getting admitted based on historical data.
Account & Payment
Do I need to pay to use the predictor?
The predictor shows top 3 results for free. To unlock all results across all 264 colleges, you need a Season Pass (₹299 for JoSAA or ₹399 for Full Bundle with CSAB).
Can I get a refund?
Yes! We offer a 7-day refund policy. If you're not satisfied within 7 days of purchase, message us on Telegram with your payment ID and we'll process a full refund within 3-5 business days.
Using the Tools
How do I use the Choice Fill tool?

When ready, click "Export as TXT" to download your ordered list for reference while filling on the actual JoSAA portal.
What is the Chance Score?
The Chance Score (0-100%) indicates your probability of admission based on historical data. 80%+ = High (very likely), 60-79% = Good (likely), 40-59% = Low (possible but uncertain), Below 40% = Reach (unlikely but possible).
